State Cup Round 1 Match Day Wrap Up

May 8, 2023

It was an exceptional day for the Kellyville Kolts at Bernie Mullane on Sunday, 06 May, as we kicked off our State Cup campaign with a clean sweep of victories.

The U13 Boys started the day with a clinical 4-0 win over Gwawley Bay Football Club, with some outstanding individual performances from the team. The U14 Boys followed with a hard fought 2-0 win over Georges River FC, with two outstanding goals.

The U16 Boys continued the trend of victories, securing a comprehensive 4-0 win over Northbridge FC, showcasing their skill and teamwork throughout the match. The All Age Women (aka our Women’s Premier League) rounded off the day's proceedings with an impressive 5-2 win over Colo Soccer Football Club, with the Kolts dominating the match from start to finish.

The U16 Girls and U15 Boys both had a bye in round 1, and they will be eager to make their mark in the competition when they take the field in the round 2.

The Kolts family should be proud of the teams performances across all the matches and we will be hoping to build on this momentum in the upcoming rounds of the State Cup. Congratulations to all the teams on a successful start to the campaign, and we wish them all the best for their next games. Go Kolts!
