
It was another big weekend of Premier League football for the Kellyville Kolts, with hard-fought contests across all grades. While the First and Reserve Grade sides both had to settle for a share of the points, there were strong performances and plenty of positives to take out of the round.
Kolts 2 drew West Ryde Rovers 2
First Grade were made to work early, conceding via an own goal in just the 8th minute. To their credit, the response was strong, with Hamish Callaghan finding the equaliser in the 22nd minute to bring the Kolts back on level terms.
The momentum continued after the break, with Chris Barbera putting Kolts ahead in the 49th minute and giving the home side control of the contest. Despite creating opportunities to extend the lead, West Ryde Rovers remained in the fight and eventually found an equaliser in the 73rd minute.
Kolts pushed late for a winner but had to settle for a point in what was an entertaining and evenly matched contest.

Reserve Grade showed great character to fight back from a two-goal deficit after Rovers struck twice in the first half.
The response came early in the second half with Jimmy Russel-Miller finding the net in the 48th minute to spark the comeback. Kolts continued to build pressure and were rewarded in the 79th minute when Alex Mealy calmly finished to level the scores.
A strong second-half performance saw Kolts finish on top, but just couldn’t find the winner despite their momentum.
Kolts 1 defeated Baulkham Hills FC 0
The Under 21s continued their strong form with a disciplined and composed 1-0 victory over Baulkham Hills FC.
In a tight contest, Kolts showed maturity beyond their years, controlling key moments of the match and defending resolutely to secure a well-earned clean sheet and three points.
Kolts 0 lost to Quakers Hill Tigers 2
A tough outing for the Women’s Premier League side, going down 2-0 against a strong Quakers Hill Tigers outfit.
Kolts 7 defeated Quakers Hill Tigers 0
A dominant performance from the Under 21s, putting on an attacking masterclass in a 7-0 victory. Clinical in front of goal and relentless throughout, it was a complete team performance and a great reward for their hard work.
Plenty to build on across the grades as Kolts continue their Premier League campaign, with strong performances, resilience and depth on display across the club.
