Grand Final Weekend - 19 Kolts Teams Ready for the Big Dance

August 17, 2026

What a weekend. What a result. And what a weekend we now have ahead of us.

Of the 23 Kellyville Kolts teams in finals action last weekend, another 10 booked their place in the Grand Final of their respective Hills Football competitions.

That takes our total number of Kolts teams competing in Hills Football Grand Finals this weekend to an incredible 19.

And we are not done yet.

Our Women's Premier League First Grade and Women's Premier League Under 21s both won their Semi Finals and now move into their respective Preliminary Finals, still fighting for the chance to make it 21 Kolts teams in Grand Finals this season.

Meanwhile, our Men's Premier League teams head into a massive final round against cross-town rivals Castle Hill United. First Grade has already secured the 2026 Premiership, while Reserve Grade faces a genuine winner-takes-all showdown for the Premiership.

So, just to recap what lies ahead this weekend:

  • 19 Hills Football Grand Finals
  • 11 Grand Finals at Bernie Mullane
  • 2 Women's Premier League Preliminary Finals on the road
  • Men's Premier League First Grade already crowned Premiers
  • Reserve Grade playing Castle Hill United with the Premiership on the line
  • Three massive days of Red and Black football from Friday through to Sunday

Yep... this weekend is going to be HUGE.

19 Teams. 19 Grand Finals.

Reaching a Grand Final is something to celebrate.

Every one of our 19 teams has earned their place through a long season, Premiership rounds, finals pressure and the type of football where every tackle, save, pass and goal matters.

Congratulations to every player, coach, manager and supporter who has helped their team reach the final game of the Hills Football Championship Series.

Now there is just one more job to do.

Grand Final action begins on Friday night, continues throughout Saturday and rolls into Sunday, with Kolts teams playing across the Hills.

But the real centre of the Red and Black universe this weekend will be Bernie Mullane, where an incredible 11 Kolts Grand Finals will be played.

If there was ever a weekend to fill Fortress Bernie, this is it.

Bring the family. Wear your Kolts gear. Find a spot on the sideline and make some noise.

Our teams have done the hard work to get there. Now let's make sure they know the whole club is behind them.

Women's Premier League - One More Win

Our Women's Premier League teams are also still very much alive in their Championship campaigns.

Both WPL First Grade and WPL Under 21s produced Semi Final victories last weekend and now head into their respective Preliminary Finals this Sunday.

Both teams will take on Maryong Football Club at Laybutt Sporting Complex, with the Under 21s kicking off at 1:00pm before First Grade takes the field at 3:00pm.

The equation is simple - win and they are into the Grand Final.

Good luck to both squads as they continue their push through the combined BDSFA, GDSFA and HFL Premier League Championship Series.

Men's Premier League - Cross-Town Rivals, Premiership on the Line

What a way to finish the Men's Premier League regular season.

Our First Grade has already secured the 2026 Premiership, sitting an unassailable 11 points clear at the top of the ladder with one match remaining.

It is an outstanding achievement in the Kolts' first season in the NWSF Men's Premier League, and there will be plenty of time to celebrate it properly.

But for Reserve Grade, the job is very much still to be done.

The final round pits the Kolts against cross-town rivals Castle Hill United, with the winner taking the Reserve Grade Premiership.

First versus second. Final round. Local rivals. Premiership on the line.

It really doesn't get much bigger than that.

The boys have put themselves in a position where their season comes down to one final Premiership match. They'll need every bit of Red and Black support we can give them as they look to complete a remarkable First Grade and Reserve Grade Premiership double.

This Is Our Weekend

From Friday night through to Sunday afternoon, there will be Kolts football everywhere.

Grand Finals at Bernie.

Grand Finals across the Hills.

Women's Premier League Preliminary Finals at Laybutt.

Men's Premier League First Grade already Premiers.

And a winner-takes-all Reserve Grade Premiership showdown against Castle Hill United.

Whether you are playing, coaching, managing, volunteering, supporting your kids or just looking for somewhere to watch some great football, there is only one requirement this weekend:

Wear Red and Black.

The full schedule of our Grand Finals and Premier League Championship fixtures is included in the table below, so find a game, grab your Kolts gear and get behind our teams.

This is the weekend everyone works towards.

19 Grand Finals. Two Preliminary Finals. One Premiership already secured. One more up for grabs.

Let's make it a weekend to remember.

Good luck to every Kolts team taking the field. The whole club is behind you. 🔴⚫
